Displaying Kids' Artwork

Happy Friday everyone! Of course all parents think that our kids are talented little artists and I'm no exception. I do like to display my kids' artwork to encourage their creativity. I finally got around to hanging some of it recently.  These frames, with the pictures in them, have been sitting in my bedroom closet for close to two years waiting to be hung! One of the reasons I started my blog was to light a fire under myself to get things done!

They're from Target and cost about $15.00 each. What I like about them is that you can open them from the front to easily change out the artwork. They come in white or black, and they're magnetized so they stay shut and are easy to open.
Here is Olivia's picture. She painted this in 5th grade (she's now in 7th). She wasn't too thrilled with me for choosing this picture to display, but I love it. It looks a little bit Gaugin inspired to me.
Here is Jacob's picture that he did in 2nd grade (he's now in 4th). Very Pablo Picassoesque, don't you think?
I put them next to the bookcases in our living room. I'm on a mission to get all of the bookcase projects I have planned done by the end of April. It will be two years this summer since I put them up and painted and stenciled the wall behind them. I want to get them done before this summer so I don't feel completely lame about this project.

After two years of waiting to hang them, now I'm not sure whether they'll stay here because they catch a lot of light from the dining room window and have a horrible glare. I'm afraid to take them down though because then they might wind up stuck in my closet for another two years.

Am I the only procrastinator out there? What about you? Do you have any projects that have drug on forever?

In addition to working on some bookcase projects this weekend, I've got another living room project I hope to finish that I'm excited to share with you next week.

Thanks for stopping by!
