I am ready to make a commitment!

To my kitchen window that is. The fabric I mean. I've been searching for just the right fabric to make a no sew Roman shade, like this one that Angela at 365 Days to Simplicity made. She made it using a cheap mini blind, but she had me at "no sew".  I say that I'm ready to make a commitment because I am still vascillating over the paint color in my bedroom. I am driving myself crazy with it, so I'm just going to try to stop thinking about it for awhile and focus on other things.

Here is the fabric that I ordered yesterday.  Since I'm planning on going with an all white kitchen. I wanted a little pop of color, and you now how much I love green. The fabric is Paul Kaufman Lifestyles cross section green. I actually ordered the sample of charcoal, but decided I wanted color instead.

Of course, I'm planning on adding trim molding around the window first, just because I like to take the simplest projects and complicate the hell out of them.

  1. Great fabric! I'm looking for fabric for my kitchen window too. Currently everything is white, beige, or gray so I need a pop of color!

  2. That is such an adorable fabric! Right now I am into all thingsg with a graphic pattern, and this is just spot on! And I love your attitude to make things more complicated than they need to be, that's so me, too!
