Laundry Room Progress

Hi guys!  I wish I was here with a reveal post of the laundry room, but it's a progress post instead.  That's just the way it is when things happen, like all three of us get colds, we have a carbon monoxide scare and I have to do practical, every day, life stuff. And to think that I actually thought I could get this room done by the end of September!  Maybe? If this were an HGTV show and there was a whole crew of people here to get it done.

Or maybe, if I was Wonder Woman.

But, I'm not.  And I live in the real world, and I operate in real world time.

Anyhow, here's a little refresher of what I was dealing with.
No storage and builder boring paint on the walls.
Sagging, cracked drywall tape on the ceiling.
Torn and stained flooring.

Here's what I've managed to get done so far.
1)  The sagging drywall tape has been removed and replaced with new drywall tape. I still need to do another layer of texture to finish it off.
This shot shows what the floors really look like.  The paint isn't that blue, it's more grayish.
 2)  The new flooring has been put in (picture above).
This shot shows a truer representation of what the walls look like.  The flooring isn't that dark.
3)  The walls have been painted a deep blue gray.  Sherwin Williams Smokey Blue.  I added some white paint to it to tone it down a bit, because there is no natural light in this room and it was looking, really, really dark.

Here's what I still need to do.

4)  Hang the shelving over the washer and drier.  The shelving has been primed and painted and waiting in our garage since September.
5)  Put the doors back on and the hardware.
6)  Figure something out to hide the laundry bin and other not so pretty stuff.

7)  DIY something to hang the ironing board and spray paint and install the light fixture.  Here's the mood board to give you a refresher of what those will look like and what the room will look like when I eventually get it all done.
You just don't know how much I cannot wait for this room to be 100% completed.

Thanks for hanging in there with me!
